RYAN SOUTHWICK

FINANCIAL PLANNER

Ryan Southwick is a co-founder of Zephyr Financial Strategies & Insurance Solutions and draws from his 10+ years of business consulting background to support their clients. With a wealth of experience consulting with clients such as AT&T, Verizon, Quest Communications, TXU Energy, and others, Ryan has developed the skills to work well with many different personality types. His comfort zone is working with successful business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives.

Ryan is often told that he is very good at explaining complicated matters in a simple way, which aides his clients in understanding their options and making sound financial decisions. He adopts a consultative approach to his financial planning practice by helping his clients crystalize their financial goals, create plans to help them achieve those goals, and help to avoid potential pitfalls along the way. Ryan entered the financial services industry in 2014 as an Agent with New York Life Insurance Company then in 2016 he became a Financial Adviser/Planner with Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor. Ryan is a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities LLC (Member FINRA/SIPC) and currently holds the FINRA series 7, 65, 6, and 63 licenses.

In Ryan’s spare time, he loves raising his two children Marcus and Liselle, who are a huge motivation to him. You can also find him rock climbing, swimming, skiing, and staying active in other exciting ways. In his downtime, Ryan enjoys reading, live music, and traveling. On Ryan’s bucket list is to visit all of the best beaches in the world!

LISA MORTON

OFFICE MANAGER

Lisa began her early career working in the fashion district as a receptionist and followed with Disney as a project coordinator. After developing skills both in the management of photographs for Disney movies and computer technology, children blessed her family which transitioned Lisa into her passion: a career as a stay at home mom. Throughout her career and life, Lisa values being of service and using her managerial talents to better the lives of those around her. Keeping relationships at the forefront of priorities, especially those in her family, Lisa is dedicated to improving and supporting the lives of others. Rooted in solid ethics and principles, possessing excellent executive functioning skills, Lisa has the perfect combination of talent and heart to run the administrative side Zephyr Financial. She calls herself the “mom” of the office and supports all Zephyr’s clients with the same perspective.

Lisa is a Pasadena native and enjoys spending time with her family, including her 4 children Brianna, Taylor, Kendall, and Ryan as well as her 3 dogs Kodi, Ford and Riley. She enjoys fashion, photography and travel especially road trips to visit her family in Arizona and trips up the coast to Santa Barbara to watch her daughter play soccer for Westmont College.
